4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Respond promptly to requests for information or clarification
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes
  • Not request or direct us to engage in any illegal or unethical activities
  • Make timely payments according to the engagement agreement

5. Professional Standards

5.1 Legal and Ethical Compliance: We conduct all investigations and services in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. We only use publicly available sources and lawful methods.

5.2 Confidentiality: We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and case materials. When working with attorneys, we operate under attorney-client privilege.

5.3 Chain of Custody: For investigative work, we maintain proper chain of custody documentation for all evidence collected.

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

6.1 No Guarantees: While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from our investigations or consulting services. Success rates and timelines provided are estimates based on typical cases.

6.2 Public Information: OSINT services rely on publicly available information. Results depend on the availability and accuracy of such information.

6.3 Not Legal Advice: Unless otherwise specified, our services do not constitute legal advice. We recommend consulting with qualified legal counsel for legal matters.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Deliverables: Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of final deliverables (reports, analyses, etc.) created specifically for their engagement.

7.2 Methodologies: Our proprietary methods, tools, and processes remain our intellectual property.

7.3 Website Content: All content on this website is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GI Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless GI Consulting from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their misuse of our services or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement according to the terms specified in the engagement agreement. Clients remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the termination date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where GI Consulting operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

14. Severability
